The 1st regiment of Foot Guards, under it's present name of the Grenadier Guards remains the senior guards regiment of the British army, even by the time of Waterloo in June 1815 the regiment could boast a long and glorious history, indeed it was at that great battle they earned the title of Grenadier Guards in honour of the major part they played in the repulse, and final defeat of Napoleons Imperial Guard.

The living history and reenactment unit portrays the Grenadier Company of the Guards as it appeared at Waterloo, and features a fully developed standing military encampment as a back drop to the activities and displays of both soldiers and camp followers alike.

Care is taken to ensure all aspects of the units representation are as historically accurate as practicable.

We operate a lease,lend equipment system, allowing new members to get started in the hobby at a minimal cost, and exsisting members to continually improve the quality of their individual representation.

Throughout the Napoleonic wars, Wellington was reported as being all for the Guards, our policy is that the Guards is for all, including family groups.The unit takes part in many battle reenactments both in the United Kingdom, and on the continent, we have also taken part in the production of the Sharpe series. also several other historical productions for television, the unit also performed before her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and other various Heads of State on Horse Guards parade London.
